The Hughes brothers’ “Book of Eli” was not one of them. Denzel Washington in a post apocalyptic setting, murdering hundreds of people at once with a machete didn’t give the

After the movie's opening was plagued by pushed back release times due to historical tragedies, the much anticipated sequel to Troy Duffey's engrossing 1999 hit "Boondock Saints" finally comes out, a decade later. One note- since this movie is primarily directed at the people that have seen its predecessor, this review may contain a lot of comments in that same vein, but I'll make sure things are explained.
More and more things in society nowadays are deserving of the designation of "cookie cutter." McMansions, McVehicles, McMusic, it goes on. New ideas are falling by the wayside and entertainment culture is bearing the brunt of it. This well worn trail of scorched Fall Out Boy CDs and burnt copies of "American Pie 6: The Return of Dick Jokes" goes on until it peters out at director F.
Give it a try, just for fun. Well that's nice, but you're wrong. The answer, as evidenced by Ruben Fleischer's "Zombieland," is Woody Harrelson and a twinkie.,Here's a mind bender for you: you're trapped on a desert island inhabited by zombies and you can only bring two things with you.
Imagine this: you're running on a rooftop, easily breaking land speed records. You see someone you know 10 stories down, so you decide to step off of the building. Rather than act in the lamest way possible and fall and break your neck, you careen down the side of the building, bounce a few times, get up and dust yourself off.
Steven Soderbergh's "The Informant!" is a movie that, when taken at first glance, can only be assumedly fiction. The film details the rise and fall of a bipolar executive who spearheaded a whistle blowing campaign against his own company for the FBI, and was then discovered to be guilty of fraud and tax evasion, by the same people he worked with.
For the infamous Mike Judge's ("Beavis and Butthead," "Office Space") most recent foray into filmmaking, "Extract" has a few laughs along the way but disappointingly ends with a fizzle. The cast is well rounded, with Jason Bateman playing the lead role as Joel, Kristen Wiig as his wife and Mila Kunis as the con woman Cindy during the few scenes she's actually in.
Informer Staff WriterIn what can only be considered the next logical step down the path of insanity in filmmaking, directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor bring back Chev Chelios for the next film in the "Crank" series, titled "Crank: High Voltage.,In what can only be considered the next logical step
Informer Staff Writer When I heard that Seth Rogen was going to be in a movie about being a mall cop, I couldn't help but laugh. "Paul Blart: Mall Cop" had tried that already and failed but this movie actually looked good. Although I couldn't think of a movie about
Informer Staff WriterSome movies just seem to beg for poorly made sequels. Vin Diesel, who would seem to be the poster boy for action movie heroes, typically tends to be the center for, in reality, the crappy over budget action flick.,Some movies just seem to beg for poorly made sequels.
