The Hartford women’s golf team released their spring schedule, over winter break.
The four game schedule slates them for two North East and two Florida tournament appearances that all begin on March 20 through 21.
Located in Port St. Lucie, Fl., the PGA Village GC and The Saints GC will host the Hope College two-day event that Hawks head coach Donna Harris and her team will first participate in for their spring campaign.
The second tournament of the season for the women will be the Monmouth Invitational held from March 30 through April 1 and in Lakewood, New Jersey at the Eagle Ridge Golf Course.
From April 15 through April 17, the women will be competing in their home state as tournament hosts of the Hartford Invitational held at the Rockledge Golf Course in West Hartford, Conn.
The final tournament of the season for the women will be the MAAC Conference Championship from April 26 through April 29 held at the Magnolia Hills Golf Course in Orlando, Fl. that will feature Albany, Boston University, Fairfield, Niagara and reigning-conference champion Siena.
Junior Sarah Sideranko led the woman’s golf program last year at this event with a third place finish in addition to the past 2011 fall season that saw the Hawks finish in the top 10 of each tournament, including top-five finishes three times.
Sideranko will be joined by senior Emily Linn among other returning members for the upcoming season.
