Every year, the University aids in bringing holiday cheer to preschool students. On Thursday, Dec. 8 in the Suisman Lounge from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., 160 children and 24 teachers from the Women’s League Daycare Center in Hartford will be gathering. This is just one event of many that has given the University a way to show its commitment to community while also sharing the wonders of the holidays. Mike Pieksza from ARAMARK is volunteering as Santa Claus and Marcia Suess from the Office of the Dean of Students will be Mrs. Claus. They will be aided by volunteers as elves.
