Tuesday night ended in disappointment when the Hartford Wolf Pack took on the Toronto Marlies.
Coming off Sunday’s big win where Hartford put up seven goals, many fans expected to see the same offense – but it just wasn’t there.
The Wolf Pack missed pass after pass, then, midway through the second period, boos from the unhappy fans began to pour down onto the ice.
Toronto was able to capitalize on almost all of their chances where the Wolf Pack just couldn’t get it together.
Even with Chad Johnson sprawling all over the net, the defense couldn’t contain the fast Toronto scorers who won by a score of 4-1.
The Wolf Pack hope to reverse their home record as they host the Springfield Falcons on Saturday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m.
