To our readers,
Today, the issue dated February 18, 2010 was distributed around campus after 10:30 a.m. An insert was brought to the editorial board’s attention shortly thereafter titled “Curiosity Killed the CAT,” authored by an individual or group named “The Hamilton Sophisticates.”
This insert was placed in issues outside of the Informer office inside Gengras Student Union. The insert was neither paid for by the group nor was authorized to be placed in the issues. The issues delivered to the paper did not have these inserts placed in them.
The content of that insert does not reflect the opinions of the Editorial Board or the Informer staff. Any advertising that appears in the paper follows this guideline and does not affect editorial content.
As the paper is distributed today, the Informer cannot monitor all points on campus where the paper is available; however, if you find a copy of the issue with an insert disregard and please notify the Informer by e-mailing managingeditor@hartfordinformer.com.
We apologize for any confusion that this has caused.
Regards,
The Editorial Board
