It's getting towards the end of April, and it is supposed to be gorgeous out this weekend. So what better way to celebrate than this weekend's annual Spring Fling? This year's theme is "Hollywood," so get ready to party in style like your favorite celebrities.,It's getting towards the end of April, and it is supposed to be gorgeous out this weekend. So what better way to celebrate than this weekend's annual Spring Fling? This year's theme is "Hollywood," so get ready to party in style like your favorite celebrities. Spring Fling weekend is going to be full of exciting activities, thanks to the hard work of everyone in CAT.

This year we are looking forward to a full day of activities on the Village Lawn, including: air brush tattoos, Alpha Sigma Phi Sausage Fest, wax hands, a giant slide, a mechanical bull, spin art, Sigma Alpha Epsilon Wing Fest, A-List Photo, big glove boxing and a gladiator pit.

Musical performances begin at about 1:30 p.m. on the lawn. Opening up the music is the Battle of the Bands winner Lakshmi, followed by Back in Time, Article 19, Anthem, WSAM DJ, Bronze Radio Return, Jealousy Curve, Grind City and N.E.R.D. Comedian Greg Giraldo will perform in Konover at 10:00 p.m.

This year there is also a food court available so students can keep up their energy between activities. The food court will be located in the Konover parking lot. On Saturday, Boston Event Specialists will be providing students with carnival-type food from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. Food choices include hotdogs, hamburgers, French-fries, chicken fingers, fried dough, gyros and weather permitting, an ice cream truck. NYPD Pizza will be providing slices of pizza and Coney Island waffle sundaes. Wings will also be providing buffalo tenders.

On top of all of this, Dunkin Donuts will have a sampling truck and so will Coca-Cola. The sample trucks are free for all students while the vendor food will cost extra. Food vendors will be accepting cash only; no Hawk Cash or Dining Dollars will be accepted. Everything will be under $5. Later in the evening meal plans will be accepted for dinner at Konover.
